With Esra & Kemal
After the “Save the Date” shooting with Esra and Kemal in Urla, now it was time to shoot the wedding day. This time Kerem Yucel from Atlas Magazine, who is well-known with his documentary projects was going to accompany me. Before I forget, Kerem really worked wonders. Even though it was his first wedding shooting, he approached the event with a photo-interview discipline. And to be honest, I was really amazed when he photographed extraordinary moments from amazing angles. I think Kerem’s success was the proof that documentary discipline is the most important element of wedding photography. My old friend Gokhan who I continuously work with for videography and drone pilot Tayfun also worked miracles that day.

Our day started in preparation rooms of LA Mahzen with Esra & Kemal. Zeibek dance rehearsal of Esra & Kemal during preparations took us out of an ordinary preparation pace. Surroundings of the venue offered us incredible opportunities for photo session. Moreover, the Cellar downstairs of restaurant which has a fixed temperature of 15 degrees was an interesting background for photo shooting.
Reception
After the wedding, we crossed to mountain-view reception section where the wedding party was organized and the venue suddenly turned into a lively and entertaining place. I think one of the memorable moments of the night was the champagne bath given to Kemal by his friends:) After party was also held downstairs, in the cellarage where the wines are kept in tanks.
Whole team was pretty lucky as we had a rich wedding in terms of photos and videos. Esra & Kemal also did everything they could to make the shooting much more beautiful. Employees of LA Mahzen hosted us kindly as always. We also took pleasure from the shootings as we had the opportunity to taste delicious wines of Luciene Arkas vineyard.
