We met dear Halil after a close friend of mine recommended me as a photographer. Tuğçe and Halil would get married as quickly as possible in Izmir Karsiyaka Zubeyde Hanim Wedding Hall. In the morning, together with dear Tuvana, we started shooting at the barbershop where Halil had been in Alsancak for years. The name of the shop is “Berber” by the way. The owner, Gökhan, has decorated it so well that I was surprised which background to use. I had the chance to experiment with many toys and decorative items.
After Halil’s preparation, we continued shooting at Tuğçe’s hairdresser in Buca, and then we went to Tuğçe’s house. Here, the elders of the family said goodbye and photographs were taken. After the red ribbon ceremony, we set out for Karsiyaka Zubeyde Hanim Wedding Hall.
Wedding Ceremony in Covid-19 Period
As a limited number of guests could enter the wedding hall within the scope of Covid-19 measures, many guests waited outside to congratulate the couple. The registrar held the ceremony as quickly as possible, and the couple went out into the open air to congratulate. Unfortunately, in the Corona period, weddings take place like this. With as few people as possible, while maintaining social distance. Other than that, there is no question of any reception or party. Our wish is to return to old days full of fun and wonderful memories as soon as possible.
Halil and Tuğçe turned this disadvantage into an advantage by keeping the exterior shooting long. After the wedding, we took lots of photos near Sığacık and Seferihisar until it got dark. The shots we made in Sığacık castle were very valuable for me.
I wish a lifetime of happiness to dear Tuğçe and Halil.
