Cappadocia, a region in central Turkey, is a photographer’s paradise with its unique landscape of fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave dwellings. It’s no wonder why Lily and Arjan, an Asian couple from the Netherlands, chose Cappadocia for their pre wedding photoshoot.

Their journey began at Ascension Caves Suit Hotel where they spent the night before their big day. The next morning we started the photo session with Lily in her red long-tailed dress and Arjan in his black suit. The first stop was a hill at the balloons’ take-off place in Goreme where we captured the sunrise behind them.
Love Valley
We then moved to Love Valley, where the balloons were in the air, creating a stunning backdrop for their photos. The combination of the vibrant balloons, the soft morning light and the couple’s chemistry was a photographer’s dream come true.
After the balloon flight, we went to a cave church. The soft light filtered through the church windows and the unique architecture created a magical atmosphere that was captured in the photos.
In the afternoon, they changed into their traditional outfits which added a touch of culture and history to their photos. We then headed to Pasabaglari, a location famous for its fairy chimneys and rock formations, for a photoshoot. The contrast between the couple’s traditional outfits and the unique landscape made for some truly stunning photos.
The last stop was the Red Valley Panoramic View, where Lily and Arjan wore white outfits. The red hues of the valley, combined with the couple’s white attire, created a harmonious contrast that was captured in the photos. The valley’s breathtaking view was a fitting end to an unforgettable day.
A Journey with Lily and Arjan
Capturing Lily and Arjan’s wedding photoshoot in Cappadocia was an adventure and a challenge. But it was all worth it when we saw the final photos.
