Lucy’s family, drawn to the charm of Tatlısu, Cyprus, with a summer house by the sea, decided to make this picturesque location the backdrop for their wedding day. Accompanied by approximately 20 guests from Durham England, they embarked on a journey to not only celebrate their love but also revel in the beauty of Cyprus. The rest of the enchanting tale is detailed below the captivating “Cyprus Tatlisu Beach Wedding Photos.”
On the wedding morning, I rendezvoused with dear Lucy at the Anna Unique Nails and Hair Salon in Kyrenia. It was for the finishing touches of hair and makeup. Our route took us from Kyrenia to Tatlısu and eventually to Bellapais. Following the preparations, Lucy and I set off towards the scenic Sea Terra Bay in Tatlısu. We explored the surroundings with dear Liam. The small bay, just in front of the family’s summer house, proved to be an inspired choice for a beach wedding. It was a private haven with the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea and a breathtaking sunset.
Ceremony at the Bay
After our discovery of the Hidden Bay in Tatlısu, we transitioned to the preparations at the family home and garden. Amidst moments shared with the entire family, Lucy and Liam adorned their wedding attire and we proceded towards the ceremony spot on the bay. The ceremony unfolded over an hour with guests taking their seats. Liam awaited at the wedding altar, and Lucy made her entrance accompanied by her brother. Lucy’s father took his place at the top of the ceremony area considering the beach road’s inaccesibility for wheelchairs.
The ceremony provided ample opportunities to capture the scene from various angles including a climb of the rocks for a wide angle shot. Following the vows, I did a short photo session with the couple on the beach and in the sea. Then I also did a group shot with Lucy’s father and all the guests at the hilly side. The festivities continued as we set out for the next chapter of the celebration.
Reception in Bellapais Abbey:
Finally the wedding dinner and party unfolded at Kybele Restaurant, next to the historic Bellapais Abbey. It is a gothic masterpiece dating back to the 13th century. The night lighting created a magical and mystical ambiance. After the first dance and meal, the night evolved into a lively celebration, concluding with the joyous moment of cake cuting.
Dear Lucy and Liam, I thank you very much for choosing me. May your journey together be filled with endless happiness.
Warm regards,
