Tala and Rateb from Lebanon, Beirut are a couple who prefer Fethiye for their wedding day. In fact, they may count as local people of Fethiye because Tala’s mother has a house in Fethiye. Bride’s mom, Seema El Zein is a writer and loves to write at her home in the pine forests in Fethiye.

Welcome Party
Tala and Rateb held a welcome party at Sundial Restaurant the day before the wedding. This place has a restaurant with a lovely view and a very large and spacious garden on a hill were you can see Fethiye from above. The party area was so impressively decorated that it made us ask the question “how can the wedding venue be more beautiful than this?”. We shot this night together with my videographer friend Gokhan. I can say that all the guests had as much fun as at the wedding day. The night gave us some clue about how active the next day would be. First I took portraits of the couple at sunset, and then the party. One of the best moments was the night portraits I took with the background of giant fire burning in the middle. It is not always possible to catch such a big fire. I just enjoyed it.
The next day, we went to Tala’s house for preparation photos with Furkan and Metin from Izmir, who came to support me and the with the videographer Gokhan. Afterwards we went to Yatch Bohemian Hotel for the preparation of Rateb. Our target was Oludeniz for the couple photo shooting. Here we did a session on the beach accompanied by paragliding landing on the background. Babadag, which rises just above Oludeniz, is the center of paragliding sport in the world. Around 200.000 jumps are done here every year. Both the best air flow and the extraordinary view of Oludeniz attract the fans of this sport to the region. Of course, there is a great opportunity for photographers.
Wedding at Help Beach
After the shooting, we moved to the hidden paradise, Help Beach, right next to Fethiye, for the wedding night. It is really hard to explain the atmosphere here by writing. I hope the photos give you an idea. First of all, think a bay where the beach that comes out of the pine forests meets the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean. Then imagine a wedding party at a wooden made wedding venue with unlimited fun on the sand. I think this is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world. If you do not have a wedding, you should definitely go here to swim and eat-drink during the day. It’s a place like no other. We had a great wedding party with Latin music group and dancers. Then there was a great after party in the corner of the beach.
I am really glad to know you and your family, dear Tala and Rateb.
Wishing you lifelong health and happiness. Warm Regards…
