Recently, I had the opportunity to visit London again to photograph the wedding of Sitem and Can. I’ve been lucky to visit the city several times almost every year as I have dear friends and colleagues as well as Turkish couples whose weddings I have captured before living here. London is a fun and vibrant city for me but the chaos of big cities can be exhausting for long periods of time so I usually limit my stays to 3-4 days. This time I had the chance to take London Regency Banqueting Suite wedding photos.

In Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club
We started by photographing Sitem’s hair and makeup and then moved on to Can’s preparations. We used the hotel’s library and the beautiful light to capture shots of the wedding dresses and accessories. Finally, we took pictures of the bride’s sisters putting the final touches on her attire.
On the morning of the wedding day we arrived at the beautiful family home of Can in North London which was built with historical British architecture and has three floors. The family was having breakfast and welcomed us with their famous Turkish hospitality. We joined them at the table and enjoyed the meal. Then, we headed to Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club where the preparations were taking place. This hotel has a charming atmosphere surrounded by nature.
Before heading outside we utilized the gorgeous interior of the hotel for more photos. Then we shot with our classic white Beauford car in front of the 500 year old Hanbury Manor building. The hotel’s spring trees with their white flowers were also a beautiful backdrop for photography.
Beauty of The Hill Garden and Pergola
Our main outdoor shooting location was The Hill Garden and Pergola. It was a truly stunning place to photograph. The light was perfect and I, as a photographer was in awe. Sitem and Can were understanding and told us to take as much time as we needed. We ended up shooting for about 1.5 hours in the historical and natural surroundings.
After the outdoor shoot, we went straight to the Regency Banqueting Suite for the reception. It was a great night where we met new and old friends. The staff, vendors and guests were very accommodating and took extra care of us, being guests from Turkey.
Whenever I shoot in London, it seems like the rain always stops and the sun shines. That was the case at this wedding too, making it a very enjoyable and productive trip for me. I would like to extend my gratitude to my videographer friend, Emrah who lives in London and the assistant photographer, Tatiana from France for their support and collaboration.
Sitem and Can are a wonderful couple, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness and good health.
