Linzi and David, a couple with four children from Norwich, England, chose the enchanting destination of Fethiye Ölüdeniz for their wedding. They traveled to Turkey accompanied by a group of approximately 30 relatives and friends, creating a week-long celebration that included both their vacation and wedding festivities. Linzi and David’s Memorable Day
Firstly, our journey began at Liberty Lykia Adults Only Hotel where Linzi and David were staying for their preparations. So the room was bustling with about 15 girls making it a lively and dynamic atmosphere for photography. Despite the crowded space, it provided us with a plethora of creative opportunities. Especially Linzi’s sister, a skilled beautician, made the makeup process seamless. It was heartwarming to witnes the endearing interactions between Linzi and their youngest daughter in this room. Meanwhile the groom’s room offered a more serene ambiance, creating its own enjoyable moments for photography.
Once the preparations in both rooms were complete, we made our way to Billy’s Beach, the chosen wedding venue, around 7 pm. David took his place in front of the altar on the beach eagerly awaiting Linzi’s arrival. She walked down the aisle acompanied by her bridesmaids and the adorable little girls. Particularly the first look and the wedding ceremony itself were filled with a beautiful mix of emotions, ranging from laughter to tears.
Let the Champagne Pop!
Subsequently, champagne bottles were joyously popped on the beach, celebrating the newlyweds’ union. Linzi and David walked down the wedding path, adorned with rose petals tossed by their guests amidst cheers and well wishes. Just before the wedding dinner, we seized the oportunity to capture a short but fruitful outdoor shoot at sunset. We also arranged a group photoshoot including the couple and all their beloved guests.
Afterwards As the evening progressed we arrived at the reception area adjacent to the beach around 8 pm. In due time the dinner was served followed by heartfelt speeches and the ceremonial cake cutting. Obviously the highlight of the evening was the captivating flame dance show. It is a traditional spectacle that showcases dancers skillfully twirling burning fireballs and sticks. So this provides a visually mesmerizing experience.
The couple’s first dance after the flame dance marked the beginning of the lively party with all the guests joining in the festivities until midnight. We took a moment to admire the illuminated wish lanterns released into the sea, creating a magical scene, before returning to the celebration.
As a result It was a privilege to spend the day with Linzi, David and the remarkable individuals who surrounded them. I hope our paths cross again in the future and I wish them a lifetime of happiness and love.
