Ecem + Ali
Dear Ecem is a wedding photographer from London and they work wonders in England with her partner, Seda. We have met at one of my workshops and after 1.5 years, Ecem wanted me to be her wedding photographer. It made me so happy and proud. Thanks again. You can read the whole story of “Turkish Wedding in London Hackney Town Hall“ at the bottom of the page (after the photos)!….
Another acquaintance story is about dear Miguel Onieva Sabido, who supports me as the second photographer. We actually met approximately a month before the wedding. I attended the Foundation Workshop in Spain for a week and it is so important for me. Miguel is one of the attendants of this workshop in the past and he was the event photographer of the workshop. I still remember his legendary presentation about the event he presented on the closing day. He was also in London for another photo shooting and I was so lucky that he said, he wanted to support me on my shooting. I accepted his offer with pleasure. On the other hand dear Cagin Ozsoy, who lives in London assisted us devotedly.
Wedding Day
The day before the wedding we made couple shooting for three hours with dear Ecem and Ali on London streets. We began from British Museum and had a Thames tour covering Somerset House, Waterloo Bridge and Millennium Bridge. Ali is as natural as Ecem and so the resulting photos were almost natural. It was a wonderful warm-up.
The next day my dear friend Ali Eshghi who lives in London took me and Miguel to Hackney, where the bride’s home is located. Ecem has a wonderful family. I had a chance to converse with the family and take many photos. During preparations Miguel went to Ali’s home a couple of blocks away. Miguel couldn’t help speaking highly of hospitality and warmness of Ali’s family. Later on Ali and his family came to Ecem’s home to pick the bride. At that moment we have witnessed tears of Ecem and her mother. Those moments were happy yet full of emotions.
Ceremony
Marriage ceremony took place at Hackney Town Hall. It is one of the long-established marriage offices in Eastern London. Its circular architecture welds all guests with wedding ceremony. Ali and Ecem burst into tears during marriage ceremony and it made the registrar, families even us cry. It was an incredible moment. We have witnessed true love one more time. Following the wedding, we had an entertaining group photo under confetti rain in front of Hackney Town Hall.
After this, a surprise was waiting for us. Two classic, historic, red double decker London buses were waiting for us. We went to Ev Restaurant with these buses for dinner. It was a wonderful experience to drive around London streets with these nostalgic buses. After dinner we made an photo shooting with our couple on Millennium Bridge and on riverbank at sunset. Moreover, Miguel had discovered a wonderful light on the ground floor of Tate Modern. We made an extraordinary shooting with our couple here.
Thank you
I had two full shooting days in London by virtue of dear Ecem and Ali and with the support of Miguel and Cagin. I thank them with all my heart.
Ecem and Ali, you are wonderful persons. I wish you eternal happiness. Hope to see you again as soon as possible.
